Anthony Sanders Testimony for HSFC Housing Finance Hearing

Anthony SandersAnthony Sanders is Distinguished Professor of Real Estate Finance, School of Management, George Mason University.  This eleven-page document contains his prepared written testimony for a hearing of the U.S. House Committee on Financial Services Committee on March 23, 2010.  The topic of the hearing was "Housing Finance - What Should the New System Be Able to Do?"  Among other things, Sanders recommends that Congress should pass legislation governing covered bonds, which he believes "potentially provide an excellent vehicle [to] fund the residential and commercial mortgage markets."
