The Association of Danish Mortgage Banks represents financial institutions subject to Danish legislation that "use sources of funding such as covered bonds (SDOs), covered mortgage bonds (SDROs) and mortgage bonds (ROs) to grant loans against mortgages on real property."

The Association's Annual Report 2009 (released in English on May 5, 2010) includes a variety of articles on developments related to or affecting the distinctive Danish mortgage funding model.  For example, there are pieces on the potential negative impact of proposed new European Union rules from the Basel Committee; the "coming evaluation of the Danish SDO legislation"; and what the Association calls "the first digital land registration system in the world."
