Chart Showing Covered Bond Issuance - 2008 to Present

Reuters has produced a bar chart showing monthly issuance of covered bonds in the Eurozone from January 2008 through October 2009.  It is intended to show the effect on issuance of the announcement in July of this year that the European Central Bank (ECB) was planning to purchase up to €60 billion (USD $89.047 billion) in covered bonds over a period of time.
