U.S. Covered Bond Council Web Page

The U.S. Covered Bond Council is emerging as a central player in the nascent U.S. covered bond market.   It is sponsored by The Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association (SIFMA) and The American Securitization Forum (ASF).

The Council’s Steering Committee brings together representatives from a range of heavy hitters in U.S. and international finance—big banks, institutional investors, dealers, and law firms.  This new SIFMA web page includes a list of every member.  Likewise, you will find the membership of the U.S. Covered Bond Traders Committee.

There is also a Mission Statement, along with descriptions of various working groups.  In addition, there are links to some relevant documents.
