Elizabeth Padova Hanson Moves to Barclays Capital

Elizabeth Padova Hanson — a longtime proponent of covered bonds as a funding tool in the U.S. — has joined Barclays Capital as a managing director in its asset securitization origination business.

In her previous post at RBS Greenwich Capital, she served on the Steering Committee of the U.S. Covered Bond Council.  She has advocated developing covered bonds backed by non-real estate assets such as credit card debt.
